Christiana J. Paul Spring 2015

Capture
The Christiana J. Paul Spring 2015 collection is full of elegance and sophistication.

Christina Liedtke, the founder and designer of Christiana J. Paul, has the philosophy of bringing forward elegance and nature to her fabulous designs.

For spring 2015, Christiana was inspired by luxury outerwear. Her power piece of this incredible collection is surely the trench coach - which l particularly adore.

l love it for many reasons. Primarily is the fabrics she used, which are extremely chic and different than everything out there.
Christiana said she received many wonderful compliments on the coats. It was her aim to deliver on two fronts within on her design. First is the juxtaposition of masculine and feminine. For example the Hunter Coat (Trench Coat) has seven pockets and a military style collar lending to a masculine approach, however the silhouette with the length and waist cut is very feminine.

Secondly was to develop the strength of lines and elevate them in aesthetics, details, style, and functionality. To develop iconic styles that hold true to unique and individual timelessness.

Christiana J Paul spring 2015 ready-to-wear is without a doubt wearable, with unique pieces such as Hudson Vest, Jamison Vest, Ellison Skirt, Mackenzie Coat, Hunter Coat, and the super feminine Jumpsuit

Every piece is absolutely lovely with fabulous natural colors. They are very practical, stylish, and a must-have for the season.
l met Christiana briefly in New York on my last trip during Fashion Week and l found her a classy, humble, and a really beautiful woman with such special personality which reflects exactly how she is with her designs.

Christiana started design in Chicago back in 2007, where she designed custom couture pieces for clients of the Windy City.
She also designed for the Ball of Versailles, the 2008 Inauguration Ball, and other black tie affairs.

Now based in New York, she is a marvelous young lady with a  brilliant mind and with the most precious gift, the passion for fashion.
